AGV system for the chemical industry in Ireland: ek robotics Limited (UK) will realize the automation of the central warehouse in Dublin with three different types of transport robots.

On January 26th, 2023, the topping-out ceremony for the future headquarters of ek robotics took place on the Elbe island of Veddel in Hamburg. Southeast of HafenCity, in the immediate vicinity of the city center, the new innovation and production site of the transport robotics expert is being built on a construction site of approx. 17,000 square meters. The shell of the first building complex has been completed, and the headquarters at Oberwerder Damm 11 will soon be ready for occupancy.

Another award for an AGV from ek robotics: After a comprehensive voting process, the X MOVE transport platform from ek robotics, which can be used as an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) or Autonomous Mobile Robot (AMR), was awarded the Best of Industry Award in the materials handling category.

The flexibly configurable transport robot VARIO MOVE has been honored with the German Design Award 2023. This is the second time that the sophisticated industrial design of the automated guided vehicle (AGV) from ek robotics has won a design award.

Experience today what is possible tomorrow: With the new Mobile Robot Experience App from ek robotics, automated transport robots can be experienced virtually and via mobile devices. Using augmented reality (AR), the real-size 3D AGVs are displayed in the real environment via the smartphone camera. The user-friendly and intuitive interface allows precise control of selected models and their load handling devices.

High transport capacities, fast filling intervals and demanding environmental conditions are requirements and criteria for automated transport solutions in the beverage industry.
