Today, the groundbreaking ceremony for the future company headquarters of ek robotics took place on the Elbe island of Veddel in Hamburg. Located in the immediate vicinity of the city center, southeast of HafenCity, the new innovation and production site of the transport robotics expert is being built on a construction site of approx. 17,000 square meters. From 2023, ek robotics will offer space for at least 400 employees on a floor area of approximately 10,000 square meters. Guest of honor Michael Westhagemann, Hamburg's Senator for Economics and Innovation, was unable to attend the ceremony at short notice; Lutz M. Birke, Head of the Port and Innovation Department, attended on behalf of the guest.
